Hallie soon realized he wasn’t Chad like it supposed to be. Tom explained to her about his agreement with Chad. Then they were trying to know each other, but their conversations were just uncomfortable for her. She said to him that this date thing wasn’t going to work between them because she expected to meet Chad, not him. And out of the blue, he told her about bed and perverted things. 5	Hallie McCarthy & Mark Freelander	Mark was the first candidate that dateline offered to Hallie. They met at a restaurant. From the meeting, she described him as an intelligent, well mannered, and just plain nice man. She continuously met and contacted him after that. She fell in love with him because he was just so wonderful in her opinion. But, when Mark found out Hallie was hanging out with Steve, he was so angry until he called her with rude words. 7	Hallie McCarthy & Arnold Vance	Hallie and Arnold’s first meeting was at Hallie’s house. They planned for the second meeting. But later on, their relationship isn’t explained any further.	128.
8	Hallie McCarthy & Steve Marris	Steve was Hallie’s new neighbor. They were getting along pretty well even though it was starting from several accident happened to Hallie that she needed some help from Steve. They were hanging out often with Steve’s kids. They had no intentional feelings at first. But, Steve finally realized he felt something towards Hallie. Steve kissed Hallie after watching at the cinema. Their relationship grew since then. But Mary Lynn depressed out of sudden. It scared Meagan and she asked Steve to come. Steve stayed the night there. Hallie assumed Steve did ‘something’ with Mary Lynn. They broke up. Hallie moved house. Donnalee and Todd were trying to get them back together by meeting them up at their wedding. Steve encouraged himself to win Hallie’s back.
